Taylor-Swift
Taylor Swift is Taylor Alison Swift. Taylor Swift is an American country and pop singer-songwriter. The songs of Taylor Swift tell the story of heartbreak and loss for a young girl. Swift discovered a love for musical instruments as a young person and quickly progressed from playing in kids' shows, and then making her first public appearance front of an audience. In 2011, Swift, at the age of 11, performed The Star-Spangled Banner during a Philadelphia 76ers' basketball match. In the year following, she began to write her own songs. Swift created original music that was inspired by country performers like Shania Twain (now known as the Chicks), and Dixie Chicks. Her material was a reflection of Swift's experiences as a tween and the feeling of alienation. In the year 13 Swift's parents sold their property in Pennsylvania to move into Hendersonville Tennessee so she could devote more of her time in courting the country music labels in nearby Nashville.
